| As a Yorta Yorta woman my artwork is inspired by the need to continue our old cultural, spiritual and artistic practices. I hope to re-create, reconnect and reaffirm my culture through my artwork. I feel supported and guided in my work by the Old People who have gone before us and by my Elders today. I hope to leave behind a rich cultural legacy for my children and other children to follow, so that the Dreaming may continue long after I have gone. | |
