Gillian Chaplin is a photographic artist. She has had several exhibitions, won a number of prizes and has co-published several books. As a museum professional she has worked for a number of New Zealand’s major museums including the Auckland Museum and the Auckland City Art Gallery. She was Director of Public Programs at the National Maritime Museum of New Zealand and was involved in the development and construction of that Museum for several years until its opening. She established the company Magian Design Studio, in partnership with Les Gilbert. | |
