My practice employs sound design as a tool for composition integrating the ways in which sound is organized in three main areas; Sound design for cinema, Sound Art Installation and Radio Soundscapes. This involves the creation of work that extends across performance, installed interactive sound environments and soundtrack for dance/theatre space. Using sound design as a compositional tool means that site-specific spatial characteristics play a major part in the developmental stages of a composition and how that space can be affected through the addition of my sound/composition.
