I like living here - in Australia. I like the possibilities - and the realities – offered and always available, to explore. Explore self, living, country, stories, colours, sounds. Having an age-old indigenous culture (still partly) intact - and some of the landscape source of its spiritual base (still) available for everyday experiencing - makes all this possible. And, in my case at least, provides a wonderful base from which to live, to ‘werk’ and to think. Perhaps most of my musics and sound environment pieces are to do with expressing the perception of ‘being here’. Make up musics and pieces and ideas for radio, dance, disc, performance, installation and investment. Am currently interested in negative gearing, operating somewhere between the coal face and the cutting edge - on an inclined level playing field.
