Nola Farman has been commissioned to produce work for a number of prominent public sites throughout Australia – in Perth, Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney. Among a number of awards, Ms Farman received in 1997 an Australia Council two year Fellowship, in 1995 two Premier’s Awards, namely the Western Australian Civic Design Award and the Predominantly Landscape Environment Award in association with Cox Bailey and Howlett Woodland, Architects and Urban Planners. In 1991 she was awarded a Diploma of Honor at the Prix Ars Electonica, in Linz, Austria. Ms Farmen’s works can be found in major collections such as the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Art Bank, Janet Holmes a Court, Kerry Stokes, Lady Sheila Cruthers, several corporate collections as well as in Australian Universities and the Royal Society, London, UK for the New Visions Australia.
